Supervision for LMSWs – Supporting Your Path to LCSW

Congratulations on taking the next step in your social-work journey. As a licensed and board-approved LCSW-Supervisor, I provide individual supervision for LMSWs in Texas who are working toward their LCSW credential. My approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and grounded in mind-body awareness. I bring to supervision the same care, curiosity, and ethical focus that guide my therapy practice.

What Supervision Involves

You will receive:

  • Regular individual supervision sessions to meet the Texas requirement of 100 clinical supervision hours
  • Case consultation and support as you accumulate the required 3,000 client-contact hours
  • Support in developing clinical skills, ethical decision-making, reflective practice, and readiness for independent clinical work
  • Guidance in trauma-informed care, art therapy, EMDR-informed practice (once certified), and LGBTQIA+ affirming care

Duration and Requirements (Texas)

To become a licensed LCSW in Texas, state rules require completion of 100 hours of clinical supervision along with 3,000 clinical work hours. Supervision must occur over a minimum of 24 months and may extend up to 48 months.

Depending on your employment status, full-time or part-time, supervision pacing can be adjusted to support steady progress while meeting state requirements.

I offer:

Group supervision is not available at this time. As interest grows, group offerings will be added. You are welcome to reach out if this is something you would like in the future.

Estimated Fees and Investment

Individual supervision is offered at a clear and consistent rate:

  • $100 per supervision hour
  • $400 monthly package (four hours per month)

The monthly package allows for predictable scheduling and easier budgeting. A free phone or video consultation is offered to ensure clarity, alignment, and good fit before beginning supervision.
